Organisations

DICOS is a member of different organisations that are active in the different areas of IT service management:

The itSMF® is the only truly independent and internationally-recognised forum for IT Service Management professionals worldwide.

This not-for-profit organisation is a prominent player in the on-going development and promotion of IT Service Management "best practice", standards and qualifications and has been since 1991, when the UK Chapter started as the foundation Chapter.
DICOS is a member of the German Chapter of the itSMF.

Find information about the itSMF here, and specifically about the German chapter here.

GSE is a non-profit association of companies, organisations and individuals who are involved in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) solutions based on IBM architectures.

Regular regional meetings, seperate for the different interest groups, allow ongoing discussion about ICT topics amongst the users as well as with IBM representatives.

Since the acquisition of Micromuse by IBM, DICOS actively participates in the German working group Tivoli Systems Management. Netcool becomes more and more important as a central topic in the group.

The SPECTRUM User Group For Germany (D), Austria (A) and Switzerland (CH), DACHSUG, has been founded in 2007 with active participation of DICOS. DACHSUG is an independant user group for SPECTRUM users and makes use of ca's concept Product Line Community. This gives DACHSUG full access to SPECTRUM product Management and Development - an opportunity that is certainly made use of in the yearly user group meetings.

The (english language) Wiki of DACHSUG can be found here.
