Our Values

Our values serve as a guide for our actions, behaviour and decisions. They are the foundation of our shared corporate culture.

What makes DICOS special? What is important to us? What values do we live by in our day-to-day work? Based on these questions, five values were developed with the entire DICOS team.

The values in everyday life at DICOS

Our values are a living reality and can therefore be experienced by everyone in everyday working life. How exactly? We have compiled a few examples here.

TOGETHER

From the kick-off meeting to the development of solutions and the implementation of products – projects are teamwork for us. Customers included.

In our software development team, dailies, pair programming and sprints are an integral part of everyday working life. They ensure that knowledge exchange and further development go hand in hand. And, of course, this is only possible together.

We also enjoy spending time together at regular team events. In the climbing forest, on the go-kart track, at the DICOS seminar or DICOS User Day.

And at the DICOS games evenings, the management is just as happy as our working students to find out together who has the best strategy – or simply luck – in the game this time.

Fair

For us, honest advice and fair pricing are just as much a part of a trusting relationship with our customers as comparable salaries and a healthy workload for all employees.

To ensure maximum transparency, important information is communicated to everyone as early as possible and at the same time.

We meet virtually every 29 days to discuss current issues, questions or ideas. And if there’s nothing else on anyone’s mind, we can also chat about the weather and goof around. Coffee chat 2.0

Open-minded

We keep a close eye on new developments and regularly check which of them are relevant for DICOS and our customers. To do this, we sometimes send a working student to Helsinki or an entire team to Barcelona.

We encourage people to pursue new approaches and critically scrutinise decisions. This is not difficult in a relaxed atmosphere where everyone is on a first-name basis.

Times change and so do needs. DICOS moves with the times and offers:

Remote working up to four days a week
Full-time or part-time employment contracts - to suit family life
Change of area of responsibility - if there is a desire for new challenges
