Solution: With CA Spectrum, the administration now benefits from unified network management and monitoring. Routine processes have been automated and an alarm system with escalation levels allows the IT team to react more quickly. DICOS was able to meet the special requirement of a complete solution from a single source with short communication paths.


Frankfurt Public Transport

Challenge: Aging critical IT infrastructure systems, with responsibility for more than 200 million passengers per year.

Solution: With CA Spectrum, DICOS provided VGF with a uniform and scalable management solution for its IT systems. In the complete system overview, administrators can now see all devices and components for the first time and can detect irregularities and problems before they occur with the user.

Solution: DICOS supplemented the existing network management, which was already using CA Spectrum, with the DICOS products PAM and EscAL. With the appropriate interfaces, DICOS ensured seamless interaction of all components and thus reduced monitoring costs. Mainova has been relying on DICOS services for more than 20 years.



Challenge: Due to company growth, permanent availability and security of the network were no longer guaranteed.

Solution: Real-time monitoring of the entire IT infrastructure using Netcool. Thanks to practical filtering and deduplication mechanisms, alerts are limited to relevant incidents only and can be processed faster, reducing downtime – good for 8,500 employees and 8.1 million customers.



Challenge: An increasingly complex monitoring system makes it difficult to monitor all components.

Solution: With the help of DICOS, Merck migrated its global IT infrastructure from IBM Tivoli Enterprise to IBM Netcool. As a result, the company now has a flexible and fast event management system. Thanks to a very high processing speed, the system can easily handle several thousand events arriving at the same time.
